Lucy Leggings, Pants and a Giveaway Oh My!

I've said it here before: I love Lucy. Lucy and I go way back. I've got a whole zip code in my closet devoted to Lucy stuff, ok maybe I exaggerate but YKWIM. So when the peeps at Lucy asked me to review a pair of their leggings, I was more than willing.

I was sent the Cut-For-Me Leggings, which retail for $79.99 but are on sale now for $39.99, which is a steal. They're made of moisture-wicking powermax fabric that is super soft and comfy, yet gives your muscles support during strenuous activities.
I wear these for running, biking, yoga, ice skating, and as a base layer when I play out in the snow with the kids.
Aren't they cute? I love the purple accents.

The cool thing about these is that there are flat-locked seams at the bottom that allow you to cut the hem to customize the length. Perfect for those of us who are not the tallest tree in the forest...cough...me....cough.
Note: I did not cut the hem on mine because I love pulling them over the tops of my skates.
Pros

  • Very comfy and flattering wide waistband
  • No drawstring to rub or chafe, yet they stayed perfectly in place
  • Handy interior pocket is perfect for a key

Cons

  • While theses leggings are great for running, I would love to see some reflective accents

    I love the idea of those pants being a little longer. I like to pull my tights over my socks when I run. I could just get taller socks, but oh well.

  45. I'm an A lister. I like all their tights. For some reason I just get into wearing tights when I run outside and then it's hard to not wear them. They make my legs so happy! (yeah, i'm weird)

  138. I love that they make such stretchy flexible pants for yoga. They obviously haven't seen how I do yoga - there is little flexibility needed in the pants that I wear. In fact I could do it in non-stretch jeans.
